Spring Renewal Guided Meditation

This week is the final week of my Real Love Revolution course and the timing is perfect! We have been diving deep and going inward for the past ten weeks, just as we do when winter is upon us.

 
Now it’s time to RENEW.

(I don’t know about you, but I am READY for some spring renewal! Bring on the daffodils!)

Transformation works in cycles similar to the seasons. The willingness of this courageous RLR tribe to question the status quo, to honestly assess their satisfaction level, and to take action way outside of their comfort zones has produced massive, sustainable transformation. Renewal comes after the excavation of old experiences which requires strength and courage. It is well worth the effort.

I happen to agree with my pal Danielle LaPorte’s #TruthBomb that, “Love rewards the brave.”

The word “renewal” means to begin again or to replace what is worn out or broken. So,  a time of renewal can be a chance to start fresh, reconnect to what brings you happiness or to release what is no longer working. I see Spring as an opportunity to renew motivation and inspiration in areas that may have become stagnant. Or as a time to re-access situations, relationships or habits that are no longer serving your highest good.

As this Real Love Revolution tribe has been in the process of assessing their lives seeking renewal, I’ve guided them to develop a daily meditation practice to continue to fuel their progress. This practice has the power to create space in between your thoughts. This gives you more control over what happens in your mind. Your beliefs can either propel you towards an amazing life, or hold you back entirely. Meditation helps you recognize that you have a choice in how you think. If you want to change or renew your relationships, health, finances or career, meditation can be the foundation for making those changes happen.

Whether you, like many in the RLR course, are struggling to set boundaries with your boss, speak authentically to your spouse or are simply having a tough time, meditation can help you gain perspective and energy by clearing your mind on a daily basis. It also strengthens your ability to stay grounded in this present moment, which minimizes concerns about the future or a preoccupation with the past. Your real presence energizes any part of your life you decide to focus it on.
