What is your attitude on a daily basis?
Are you the first one to point out what is wrong in your life?
Do you focus on what you DON’T have as opposed to focusing on what you DO have?

If so, check out my Tune Up Tip of the Week called Get an Attitude of Gratitude!

I suggest writing a quick gratitude list of 5 things everyday that inspire gratitude in your heart.  This exercise will help to strengthen your gratitude muscle and naturally shift your attitude towards seeing what is right RIGHT NOW in your amazing, beautiful, one of a kind life.

The vibration of your feelings of gratitude energetically draw more experiences in your life to be grateful for…who doesn’t want that??

I DO!

Please share one thing in your life that you are grateful for right this very minute! Sending you good vibes, as always… xo

Love Love Love,
Terri

  1. Terri…

Thank you for all of your posts and videos. They are such an important part of my week 🙂

The practice of gratitude is something that has been so transformative in my life. Because of this, I started a website that allows people to post all of the things that they are grateful for, while seeing what people all over the world are also grateful for. My goal is to start a worldwide gratitude movement 🙂

If you would like to check it out you can go to the site directly: http://www.thegratitudejar.com

With my deepest gratitude for all of your inspiration and courage!

    Marissa

  2. Hey Terri, thanks for following me on twitter. I am grateful for that because I am always looking for strong, positive people to learn from.

I really have to work at not being angry and bitter and because I didn’t want to keep heading down that road I started a gratitude journal about 2 or three months ago. I agree, it really does help.

Because I was having trouble sleeping–this has been a challenging year–I decided that I was going to end every day with notes of gratitude. After I get all cozy in bed, I get out my journal and I write at least two gratitudes. I try to find at least one thing that I am grateful for that day but I also try to make a point to be grateful for the people in my life as well. Every night I write one thing I am grateful for that day and I write about one person that I am grateful to that day. The gratitudes can be as simple as seeing a cardinal in my tree or as big as someone coming to your aid.

Some days it seems hard to think of things but I make a point to find something and someone to be grateful about before I go to sleep. I know it has helped me relax during a stressful year–remembering to look for the bright spots.

    Thank you and namaste, Beth

  3. Hey Terri!! I am grateful that I finally met you and heard you speak on Saturday. You are truly inspirational and a beautiful force of nature. I am grateful for my beautiful pregnancy and my amazing and supportive husband/partner. I am grateful for my Mom and brother and their love and support and knowing they are healthy and capable and we all have to much love and respect for each other. I am grateful to be living my life on purpose, and even when FEAR creeps up on me, I am grateful for it because I can now work through it and continue my growth and accept where I am. The list goes on! I am grateful to be alive and the miracle of my baby girl coming to me!!!! Thanks for this Xx

  4. I am thankful that Bonnie directed me here and to follow you myself. I didn’t realize that I needed this excercise. And in just 2 short days I feel a little change… a little lifting of some of the negativity I feel. This morning (day 3) I “forgot” to come up with my 5 – and I missed it. I got right back to it when I got back home. Thanks! Great to meet you on Saturday.
    love, lisa

  5. burning sage this morning and working my gratitude muscle:
    1. thankful for this body that has healed itself through healthy food and the newfound joys of movement.
    2. thankful for the incredible people I have met in my life that have a profound effect on me every day.
    3. thankful for having so much energy and strength to keep going forward
    4. thankful for the life I have lived thus far that has gotten me right here and right now.
    5. thankful for the natural world around me and I sit in awe of it listening to the birds and seeing the plants awaken from winter

  6. Fabulous tip, Terri!! I needed this reminder right now. I am grateful for so many things in my life! I’m grateful for my loving and supportive family. I am grateful for my amazing friends. I’m also grateful to be a strong and independent woman in a society that is becoming more progressive and enlightened each and every day. I’m grateful that I have a strong body and capable mind. I’m also grateful to have overcome many obstacles and to have been strengthened by each challenge that I have faced. The list goes on and on!! 🙂

  7. Thanks for the tip reminder…
I’m grateful for my husband who provides well for the family without complaining, my boys who have brought me years of joy and learning I would never have experienced without them, my body (health) that I try to keep in homeostasis, my friends who are there to support me and my crazy ideas and finally my cats who have brought unconditional love to our home for 11 years now!

  8. Awesome thoughts to ponder Terri.
I’m grateful for where the universe has put me right at this very moment and for having the faith to accept where she’s brought me.
I’m grateful for the challenges and sacrifices because all of those experiences have made me stronger.
I’m grateful for having the courage to believe enough in myself to keep going in a direction that is outside the box.
I’m grateful for allowing myself to feel and express love and to not be afraid of it.
I’m grateful for the people that have reached out to me to help lift me up – who believe in my dreams with me.
my heart is smiling and I will wake up refreshed and add to my list.
