As the seasons change and it gets darker much earlier, our energies change with it. Do you feel it? I definitely do: I feel compelled to rest and hibernate a little bit during the winter months. But I also take this time to look at the things in my life that give me energy, like working out and spending time with loved ones.
Balancing your energy is all about finding what lifts you up and what (and perhaps who) drains you.
Through my 20s and 30s I was able to correct a lot of the energy leaks in my life and also look at the ones that were feeding me and energizing me. And so I made a lot of changes that allowed me to now live a more balanced life.
I am so excited about my guest today, Dr. Del Millers, who has a new book out called Energize Your Life. Del and I have taken similar journeys in life, in that we both changed careers slightly later in life to get where we are today. Del is a master of the mind body connection, and his new book makes all the varied information out there about energy, truly accessible. Listen now to my interview with Del and discover why you must feed your passions and how to create your purpose!
