I want to provide you with a moment to pause and be grateful. Take a seat, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and think about all you have to be grateful for in your life. There are so many things we all have to be grateful for every day.

Who are your heroes, your biggest supporters? Think about those people and let your heart burst with gratitude.

What gifts have you been given? What advantages were you born into in this life? Think about those things and feel the feeling of gratitude for the things you take for granted.

What friendships do you have that light you up? Who are those friends that you love and who love you no matter what? Take a deep breath and deep inside feel your gratitude for them.

Think about all the things that are right in your life, right now. Let that gracious feeling wash over you like a waterfall.

Take one last deep breath, exhale, and get on with your beautiful, one-of-a-kind life.

I hope enjoyed this little gratitude break and that you have an amazing week. And I would be supa dupa grateful if you shared this tip with your pals on Facebook and Twitter 😉

As always, take care of you.

  1. Terri,

Many thanks. I have been working a lot of hours lately and being pushed to what I thought were my limits in many cases. But I find myself making it through. But it has the tendency to erode my attitude to the negative side. Many thanks for this “Attitude Adjustment”. It is just the thing I need. Realization of the gifts and blessings that we have been provided to us through grace is something we should do every day.

I appreciate your sharing this exercise in positive reinforcement of our blessings.

    Many many thanks

    KJ

  2. I do have a lot to be grateful for. I have a loving wife and a son who worships me. Despite not having a full time job, I do enjoy the work I do setting up add shelf media in stores for CIM. I have lived a very privelaged life for most of my life and was able to acquire a college degree thank to that. And despite struggling financially with mounting bills and dwindling income, we still manage to keep food and the table. i am also grateful that the bank refinanced our mortgage which got us out of crippling debt. And most importantly, I am grateful for having a computer so I can express how grateful I am.
