“It’s never about your home being perfect. It’s never about your home looking perfect– Good on Instagram, good for friends. It’s about your home supporting you. Does your home work for you? Can you find what you need to find? Can you cook a healthy meal? Can you get dressed in the morning without crying because your closet is such a disaster?” – Tracy McCubbin

Does your stuff own you?

Does your house actually function well for you?

Or do you ignore some cluttered rooms or spaces because they fill you with a sense of overwhelm?

If any of this resonates, check out my conversation with @tracy_mccubbin on how to become more intentional with the things we own. Tracy has been in the decluttering biz for over 15 years and has amazing tips and insights for us. 💕

While working for a prominent television director in Los Angeles, Tracy discovered she could see through any mess and clearly envision a clutter-free space. Coupled with keen time-management and organizational skills, Tracy soon found more and more people were asking her for help. Before she knew it, dClutterfly was born. 1. Hi! I'm curious if you have any suggestions on addressing clutter when living with a partner? My husband fills holes in his life with stuff and it makes our house into a place that is not comfortable or working for me. I want to respect his boundaries and not get rid of or move things that belong to him but he has thus far been unwilling to declutter. I work from home and feel a negative impact from the clutter daily. How do I set boundaries to protect some space for me and be able to use the house comfortably?
